Iternal Realtime Voice Agent Brings Voice Conversations to the Phone, Set Up in the Dashboard
Operators set up each phone conversation in one dashboard.
Iternal Realtime Voice Agent, August 29, 2026: Where the relevant setup is in place, the service gives spoken updates while it looks up an answer on approved websites, books meetings by spoken choice, and lets operators edit workflow steps and set calendar hours from pickers.
Sales-operations and support leaders who run phone conversations set up each one in the dashboard, step by step, including the sites the agent may draw on and the calendar it works with. Where website lookup is set up, callers hear short spoken updates while the agent researches an answer. IT and telephony administrators use the same dashboard.

Callers hear that the agent is still working on their question. When a website lookup runs long, the agent gives short spoken status updates, naming the subject of the question when it can, and repeats them until the lookup ends. Operators set the subject scope for website lookups on each agent. This applies to agents that have website lookup enabled with at least one approved website, other than agents that route callers to a specialist; agents limited to company materials are not covered.
Answers from approved websites and company materials are prepared for the ear before the agent speaks them. Formatting symbols are removed so they are not read aloud, and full web links are left out of what the agent says. This applies when the agent uses website lookup or company-materials lookup.
Callers settle on a meeting time during the call. Times are offered in the time zone set for the calendar, as numbered options. A caller picks an opening by saying "option 2" or "the first one", and the agent books it when the choice identifies one opening clearly. This applies when calendar booking is enabled and a calendar is connected to the agent, and, for agents that follow a conversation workflow, when the step has calendar check and booking switched on.
Operators shape how a conversation unfolds by editing each step's instructions and the opening greeting. They add, remove and reorder steps, set voice and tone, and set conditions for moving on to the next step. Operators can also switch calendar check and booking on for a step and add fields that collect a caller's answers, labelled as text, email, phone, yes or no, number, or date and time. This applies to agents that follow a conversation workflow and to operators who sign in to the dashboard, and advanced editing remains for unusual cases.
Operators set when meetings can be booked and how long they run. Business hours are chosen with start and end pickers that read like 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, and meeting length is chosen from 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes. Calendar saves and workflow updates confirm with "Saved." Operators who sign in to the dashboard make these settings.
