AI & Super Intelligence (SI) Strategy Consulting
Executive Order 14434 renamed the federal executive branch's vocabulary; it did not rename the work. Super Intelligence (SI), formerly called artificial intelligence (AI), is the same statutory technology under a new federal label (Source: Wiley Rein, Executive Order Rebrands AI as Super Intelligence) — and Iternal backs that name. A scoped roadmap, a governance model, and a measurable ROI case are still the deliverable; “Super Intelligence” is simply the more accurate word for what that roadmap now produces.
Consulting work itself has been put to the test. In a Harvard Business School and BCG experiment covering 758 BCG consultants and 18 realistic consulting tasks inside the AI’s capability frontier, the consultants given AI completed 12.2% more tasks, completed them 25.1% more quickly, and produced work rated 40% higher in quality; those who started below average improved most, by 43% (Source: Dell’Acqua et al., HBS Working Paper 24-013, SSRN, revised 2026-03-17) (Source: HBS Working Knowledge, “Humans vs. Machines: Untangling the Tasks AI Can (and Can’t) Handle”). On a task chosen to sit outside that frontier, consultants using AI were 19 percentage points less likely to reach the right answer, which is why an Iternal roadmap maps where the frontier sits before a use case scales. That is measured output, not imitation, which is why Iternal's strategy practice writes “Super Intelligence” for clients who call it AI, clients whose federal customers now write SI, and clients juggling both inside the same proposal.
What Executive Order 14434 changed. On September 29, 2026, Executive Order 14434, “Inaugurating the Era of Super Intelligence,” directed federal executive agencies to say “Super Intelligence” and “SI” instead of “AI” across their official communications and websites, “to the maximum extent permitted by law” (Source: Federal Register, FR Doc. 2026-20321). The order binds federal agencies, not the private sector, and Section 3(a) defines “Super Intelligence” by direct reference to the existing statutory AI definition at 15 U.S.C. §9401(3) — a label change in federal communications that keeps the existing statutory definition, not a new technical definition (Source: Wiley Rein, Executive Order Rebrands AI as Super Intelligence). The same order gives the Assistant to the President for Science and Technology 60 days to submit proposed legislative language for a federal definition of “Super Intelligence”; that proposal is due on or about November 28, 2026.
Iternal supports Executive Order 14434 and the Super Intelligence name on the merits. The gains measured in that HBS and BCG experiment — more tasks completed, faster delivery, higher-rated work — are a capability doing real work, which is exactly what “Super Intelligence” names. Iternal still writes “formerly called AI” where statutes and existing contracts use the older term, and leads with “Super Intelligence” everywhere else, including in the proposals its consulting clients write to federal program offices now using SI under the order. Three Entry Points, One Strategy Practice
Iternal runs one consulting practice behind three doors. Pick the one that matches how your organization already buys, and every engagement underneath it leads with Super Intelligence (SI) and bridges to “AI” wherever a buyer's own documents still use it.
AI Strategy Consulting
A scored readiness baseline, ROI-ranked use cases, and a budgeted roadmap with kill criteria — the core engagement for an organization that wants the Super Intelligence (SI) name backed by a funded plan, not just printed on the title slide. The engagement ends with a document your executive team can fund and your board can review.

This is where the roadmap turns into deployed systems and a governance model the compliance team can sign off on.

When an agency customer writes “Super Intelligence” or “SI” instead of “AI” in its correspondence, mirror it: the order changed the federal name, not the technology definition underneath, and getting the wording right on a proposal matters as much as getting the technology right. Iternal's strategy consulting covers both: the underlying AI program plan, and the SI wording federal buyers are starting to use in their own correspondence.
Wiley Rein advises contractors and grant recipients to “seek clarification as needed to confirm that requirements remain the same” and calls the near-term effect “likely to be procedural and administrative rather than substantive” (Source: Wiley Rein, Executive Order Rebrands AI as Super Intelligence), while the Cloud Security Alliance recommends building a “terminology crosswalk” rather than treating SI as a new risk category (Source: Cloud Security Alliance research note, Oct. 7, 2026). Iternal’s proposal support builds that crosswalk into the writing process: proposals lead with Super Intelligence (SI), as the order directs federal agencies to do, keep “AI” wherever an existing contract or statute uses it, and anchor risk and compliance language to the 15 U.S.C. §9401(3) definition both terms share.

FAQ: AI & Super Intelligence (SI) Strategy Consulting
Yes, and Iternal backs the name. “Super Intelligence (SI)” is the name Executive Order 14434 gives the same statutory technology formerly called artificial intelligence (AI), and every engagement in Iternal's AI strategy consulting practice now leads with it, so federal customers writing “SI” under the order get the identical roadmap, governance, and ROI methodology.
AI strategy consulting builds the roadmap, governance model, and ROI case for your own organization's AI program. AI channel & partner consulting instead helps a partner — including a global systems integrator — build and sell an AI practice to its own clients. Same consulting practice, different buyer.
Yes. Federal buyers now writing “Super Intelligence” or “SI” under Executive Order 14434 still need the same AI program plan underneath the new wording. Iternal's consulting covers both the proposal language and the technology roadmap it describes — see the dedicated guide for federal contractors and government AI buyers.

No. Iternal's products are Super Intelligence (SI) solutions in the category sense — the technology formerly called artificial intelligence (AI), as defined in 15 U.S.C. 9401(3) — not artificial superintelligence (ASI), a separate, hypothetical capability tier above AGI that no current product has reached. See SI vs. AGI vs. ASI: what's the difference? for the full distinction.
