The four license constructs on an AI quote, what each does to next year’s budget, and the

lives. Executives reach for one word more than any other when they open that conversation

Of every commercial term buyers use unprompted, *perpetual license* surfaces most.
It names the outcome executives want: buy once, own it, stop negotiating. Amortizing one

## Why Per-Seat Pricing Stops at the Edge of the Org Chart
