References & Case Studies

# What References and Case Studies Exist
for Private AI Deployments?

What Iternal can show you by sector and size, what stays under NDA and why, how long
the company has been in business, and what to ask for.

Built from real buyer questions in our sales meetings

Two questions hide inside every request for a reference. Has an organization like ours
done this? And will the company that sold it still be trading at renewal? A superb
deployment from a company that folds is a migration project, not a win.

Direct Answer

**References and case studies exist, organized by industry.** Iternal keeps a
case-study library spanning industry verticals, including joint studies with Intel carrying
customer quotes and outcomes. On longevity, three facts are checkable without taking anyone at
their word: Iternal Technologies has been building and selling AI software for roughly seven
and a half to eight years as of August 2026, it is headquartered in Austin, Texas, and its OEM
partnership with Dell runs close to seven years.

**The limit: the missing logos are a permission problem, and an unnamed reference
is not a reference.** Public sector buyers rarely agree to be named, military-side work
is hard to discuss publicly, a pharmaceutical deployment sits under NDA, and Iternal cannot
name its large-manufacturing customers without a mutual NDA. Those deployments are real. They
stay unusable as proof until you get the name under an agreement of your own.

**Verify what is checkable, then get the rest in writing.** Company age,
headquarters, the partnerships and every published study you can confirm yourself. Iternal is
privately held and does not disclose revenue, so financial stability is a contract question
rather than a reference question. Two figures that circulate — channel size and
consultation volume — count different populations over different windows, so ask for
each with its counting window attached on [your question list](#pin-it-down).

**A case study and a reference call are different instruments.** One documents
that a workflow existed; the other tests whether it survived contact with an organization
shaped like yours, and only one of them answers back. Ask for both, in that order. For more
information on proving the claims against your own material, visit the
[proof page](https://iternal.ai/jobs/evaluate-private-ai/demo-and-proof-on-your-own-data).

## How Long Iternal Has Been Around, and Where It Sits

**The age moves because the counting does.** Iternal puts its own age at
about seven and a half years, and elsewhere at almost eight — a founder rounding an
anniversary rather than reading a filing. Take the range: as of August 2026, Iternal
Technologies has been building and selling AI software for between seven and a half and
eight years, from headquarters in Austin, Texas.

**Privately held means the balance sheet stays closed.** Iternal does not
disclose revenue, so buyers who need turnover and growth figures for a risk review should
raise it early. What is visible instead is the bench: several leaders arrived after two
decades or more at Dell, and the chief technology officer spent twenty-nine years at
Prudential. Tenure is not a balance sheet. It is the strongest signal available when the
balance sheet is private.

## What the Partnerships Say That a Private Balance Sheet Cannot

**Relationship tenure is the proxy you get when financials are closed.**
Iternal describes its OEM partnership with Dell as running close to seven years, and Dell
resells Iternal software through its own channel partners and in some cases direct.
Iternal and Intel run a joint technology partnership; AirgapAI Edge was built with Intel
and runs its models through Intel’s OpenVINO optimization toolkit. Seven years is a long
time for a large partner to keep renewing a small one.

**The joint studies carry a verification step most marketing does not.**
Intel owns that publication process and requires the customer to sign a release attesting
that the data points are factual and the use cases real. Read one accordingly: the
outcome was signed off by the customer named on it, not only by the company it flatters.

**On channel size, ask rather than read.** Iternal sells directly, through
resellers, and through the hardware partners carrying its software; it separately
onboards partners onto its AI Blueprint Builder. Two populations, counted two ways. The
list below asks for both, dated.

## How Much Private AI Work Has Actually Been Delivered

Iternal describes its experience as thousands of AI consultations and implementations
across enterprise customers. The claim stands as stated and unquantified: the figure and
the period it covers have been given differently as the work accumulated, so ask for the
number with its counting window attached. For more
information visit the
[AI Blueprint Builder page](https://iternal.ai/jobs/where-to-start-with-ai/ai-blueprint-builder).
Volume is the weakest credibility signal anyway. A thousand engagements in industries
unlike yours tell you less than one that matched your constraint and your workflow.

## Find an Organization Like Yours: What Exists, by Sector and Size

**Borrowed adjacency is the commonest mistake in reading a reference.** One
buyer put it flatly: an oil and gas case study does not fit an electric utility that sits
closer to energy transfer. Match on workflow and constraint, not logo and sector code.
Sector by sector, what exists and what can be named:

| Sector | What exists today | What can be named |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Aerospace & defense | Case studies and use cases to share. Many customers in the 50-to-250-employee band do DoD work. | Partly. Military-side work is often hard to discuss publicly. |
| Financial services | Large financial institutions plus local and regional US banks, including a consultancy running it for banks that cannot legally use a third-party service. | Mostly under NDA. Ask for a banking reference by name inside one. |
| Healthcare & life sciences | One of the concentrations of AirgapAI work. A pharmaceutical deployment exists. | Not the pharmaceutical customer, which is under NDA. The Big Four consulting partner on it can be named. |
| Manufacturing & industrial | An oil and gas case study, alongside work behind large manufacturers. | Not without a mutual NDA. Iternal signs on either party’s paper. |
| Public sector & education | State, local and education material, plus a published K-12 lesson-planning study. | The published ones. Beyond those, public sector buyers rarely agree to be named. |
| Legal | An active push. Case studies in progress, none published yet. | Nothing published. An attorney-to-attorney reference call instead. |

**Size travels better than sector does.** A first deployment starts the same
way at two hundred people and at two hundred thousand: one or two licenses on an AI PC,
one workflow, one data set. Read across sectors when constraints match.

## What Is Under NDA, and Why the Names Are Missing

Three reasons keep customer names out of published case studies. Only one is
Iternal’s to lift:

- The customer’s own policy. Public sector organizations are
unlikely to want to appear in a case study at all. That call is theirs.
- A signed agreement. A pharmaceutical deployment is covered by an NDA,
and large-manufacturing customers cannot be named without a mutual NDA in place.
- The nature of the work. Some military-side deployments are hard to
describe publicly at all.

**What Iternal does instead of a logo wall.** It signs a mutual NDA on either
party’s paper, or works under a pass-through partner NDA, and names names inside it.
Where a name cannot be given, it gives that customer’s employee count and
location, so you can judge comparability without the logo. It arranges live reference
calls, attorney to attorney where a general counsel wants a peer. And it shares security
architecture and deployment documentation without an NDA at all.

Pin it down: questions for your evaluation

- Which named customers can you introduce us to under a mutual NDA, in our sector and at our size?
Whether the reference exists, separately from whether it can be published.
- How many partners are active in the reseller channel, and how many are onboarded onto the AI Blueprint Builder? Give both, dated.
Two populations counted separately, so one headline number cannot stand in for both.
- How many AI consultations and implementations have you delivered, over what period?
The volume claim with its counting window attached, the only form in which it means anything.
- What happens to our deployment, our data sets and our licenses if the company is acquired or ceases trading?
Continuity in writing — the part of the longevity question no reference call can answer.

FAQ

## FAQ: Proof, References and Company Longevity

Yes, by industry vertical — including joint studies produced with Intel that carry customer quotes and outcomes, plus state, local and education material and a published K-12 study. Coverage is uneven: aerospace and defense, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing and public sector all have material, while legal has nothing published yet.

Roughly seven and a half to eight years as of August 2026 — Iternal states its own age both ways — from headquarters in Austin, Texas. The company is privately held and does not disclose revenue, so turnover figures will not reach your risk review. The longevity signal it does offer is relationship tenure: its OEM partnership with Dell runs close to seven years.

Not the pharmaceutical one — that deployment is covered by an NDA. The Big Four consulting partner on it can be named, and for the customer itself Iternal can give an employee count and a location in place of the name. A mutual NDA makes the named conversation possible.

Yes. Iternal describes work with large financial institutions as well as local and regional US banks, and one consultancy runs the software for banks that cannot legally use a third-party AI service. Most of those names sit under NDA, so ask for a banking reference by name inside one.

That is the right ask, and no published document substitutes for it. Iternal arranges live reference conversations, including attorney to attorney where a general counsel wants a peer rather than any customer. Expect the name under a mutual NDA, and spend the call on workflow fit.

Not by asking for reassurance. Iternal is privately held and does not disclose financials, so stability is a contract question: put continuity, exit and data-portability terms in writing before you buy, and confirm your data sets stay usable on hardware you own. A local deployment lowers the exposure by itself.

## Start With What You Can Check Yourself

Company age, headquarters, the partnerships and the published studies take an afternoon
to verify. Spend the NDA on what cannot be published: a named customer in your sector, at
your size, running the workflow you care about.
