AI Account Research

# What Does an AI Account Research Tool
Produce for Sellers?

A company URL goes in. An account plan comes back in minutes from public sources.
What it covers, how far to trust it, where it stops.

Built from real buyer questions in our sales meetings

Two sellers open the same account on Monday. One spends three hours with the company
website, the annual report and a search engine, then walks into Thursday’s meeting
with a page of notes. The other pastes a URL into a research tool and comes back to a
finished account plan. Partners call the second path *deep research*.

Direct Answer

**A website URL in, an account plan out, in minutes.** Iternal’s partner
portal, PRISM, takes the prospect’s domain as its only required input and runs AI deep
research across what Iternal describes as a thousand-plus public sources. Back comes an
account plan: mission, strategic priorities, tech stack, competitive intelligence, the
executive roster, and Iternal products mapped to that customer from industry research, press
releases and public executive statements. Iternal quotes roughly five to ten minutes for a
company it has not seen before.

**The limit: no published accuracy rate, so verify before you send.**
Iternal publishes no measured accuracy figure, and the hedged estimates offered in
conversation, in the high nineties, carry no measurement method. The answer Iternal gave the
partner who asked outright is the more useful one: the research beats the average salesperson,
and it will probably make a mistake, though none has been seen yet. Treat the output as draft
research a seller checks, never as a record.

**Free to channel partners, co-branded, and metered.** Iternal offers PRISM to
its channel partners at no charge, and the arrangement runs both ways: Iternal and its
distributor receive the account intelligence for the companies a partner researches.
Co-branding is cosmetic, the partner logo on the logged-in screen. Free is separate from
unmetered: research runs draw on a credit balance a large bulk load can empty mid-run.

**Public information only, and account planning is where the depth sits.** PRISM
reads what is publicly available; external scraping is not piped in, and internal material has
to be pasted in by the user. Iternal builds PRISM as an AI-first CRM organized around account
intelligence, so the account plan is the part it takes furthest. For more information on any

## From a URL to an Account Plan: What Goes In, What Comes Back

The input is deliberately thin.

Input

The prospect website URL; a contact needs only an email address, which triggers person-level research.

Research breadth

A thousand-plus public sources, as Iternal describes it.

Run time

Single-digit minutes; instant if already researched.

Output

An account plan and mapped products.

The sweep is where precision matters, and Iternal’s own language moves around it.
The figure quoted is a thousand-plus, described variously as data sources, as data points
and as data sets, and hedged from a flat “over a thousand” to a looser
“literally thousands.” Read it as an order of magnitude rather than a
specification, and ask for the exact unit in writing where it matters.

Run time behaves the same way. Iternal has quoted a completed company run at about three
to five minutes and at five to ten. Single-digit minutes survives every version, and it
carries one instruction from practice: start the run before the customer meeting rather
than waiting for it live.

## How Accurate Is the Generated Research?

Accuracy is the question partners ask second, and it deserves a straight answer: Iternal
publishes no measured rate. Estimates in the high nineties have been offered in
conversation, hedged, with no measurement method attached. An unmeasured estimate is an
impression, and an impression is not a benchmark.

What Iternal told the partner who asked outright is worth more than a number. The
research beats the average salesperson, and it will probably make a mistake, though none
has been seen yet. Iternal’s own guidance follows: the seller double-checks before
it reaches a customer.

**Name the soft spots and you can manage them.** Revenue estimates for
private companies come from a third-party source and are sometimes wrong. Public web
content is not always current, so a stale press page becomes a stale line in the plan.
Person-level research leans on LinkedIn, so a locked profile returns thin results.
Verify the handful of facts you plan to say out loud.

## Free to Channel Partners, and What Iternal Receives Back

PRISM is free for Iternal’s channel partners, and Iternal is direct about why:
Iternal and its distributor receive the account intelligence for the companies partners
look up and engage with. A research tool that costs a reseller nothing and feeds a shared
pipeline view is a fair trade, worth understanding before your sellers load a target
list into it.

**Co-branding is real and narrow.** A partner gets its own PRISM address,
and the partner logo appears when a user logs in. Iternal describes the change as
cosmetic: the logo differs, and everything else, including the data already in the
account, stays as it is.

What a partner charges on top, and any currency figure behind it, is packaging
arithmetic. For more information visit the
[packaging and pricing page](https://iternal.ai/jobs/build-an-ai-practice/packaging-pricing-and-margin).

## Free Is Not Unmetered: Credits, Bulk Loads and Pending Runs

Two facts sit side by side. No cap governs which accounts a partner researches or how
many, which is the sense in which the research is unlimited. Throughput is metered: runs
draw on a credit balance, credits roll over, and when it empties the queued accounts sit
pending until more are granted.

The edge shows up in bulk. A partner who loaded roughly fifty companies at once emptied
the balance before the batch finished, and the run resumed only after more credits were
granted. A seller working one account at a time never sees the ceiling. Three written
answers settle it:

Pin it down: questions for your evaluation

- What credit balance does a new partner account start with, and how often does it refresh?
Whether a territory sweep fits the standard grant or needs credits up front.
- Is the thousand-plus figure a count of sources, data points or data sets?
The unit behind the research-breadth claim, so you can compare it with your own tools.
- Has output accuracy been measured against a defined sample, and can we see the method?
Whether a high-nineties figure is a benchmark you can cite or an estimate.

## What the Research Does Not Reach

PRISM draws its boundary at the edge of the public web, and four limits define it:

- Public information only. Everything PRISM surfaces is publicly
available, which is why running a company through it discloses nothing sensitive.
- No external scraping pipeline. External scraping is not piped into the
software development layer in this version.
- Internal material arrives by paste. Paste in the context you know is
relevant and the run uses it, without reaching the internet for that material.
- No intent monitoring. Partners have asked for LinkedIn scanning that
flags people engaging with their content. Iternal’s answer: it could be built,
and it is not in the product requirements document yet.

## Where the Output Lands, and What It Does Not Replace

The account plan attaches to a company record inside PRISM, and that record carries the
rest of the workflow: opportunities hang off the company, contacts carry their own deep
research, and the email writer drafts outreach under the partner branding. Sellers
report that the research step, rather than the questionnaire, is what makes the output
credible to an executive.

**What it does not yet do deserves the same clarity.** Iternal builds PRISM
as an AI-first CRM, and its depth today is in account intelligence rather than in
sales-operations machinery: no email-open notification, no nudge that a contact has gone
untouched, and meeting notes attached by hand. Customer demand is pushing the product
toward that broader operations layer, so check the list against what your team relies on.

FAQ

## FAQ: AI Account Research for Sellers

From the prospect website URL, PRISM returns an account plan: mission, strategic priorities, tech stack, competitive intelligence, the executive roster, and Iternal products mapped to that customer from public research. Iternal quotes roughly five to ten minutes for a new company.

Iternal publishes no measured accuracy rate, and the hedged estimates offered in conversation, in the high nineties, carry no measurement method. The answer Iternal gives partners: the research beats the average salesperson and will probably make a mistake, though none has been seen yet.

Public sources. Iternal describes the sweep as a thousand-plus public sources per company, drawing on industry research, press releases and public executive statements. External scraping is not piped in; internal material has to be pasted in.

Yes. Iternal offers PRISM to its channel partners at no charge, and the exchange is stated openly: Iternal and its distributor receive the account intelligence for the companies a partner researches. Research runs still draw on a credit balance.

Yes. A partner gets its own PRISM address and the partner logo appears when a user logs in. Iternal describes the change as cosmetic: the logo differs and everything else stays as it is.

PRISM is Iternal's own AI-first CRM, built around account intelligence rather than sales-operations tooling, so whether it replaces yours depends on which features your team relies on. Several an established platform carries are not there today, including email-open notification, contact-touch reminders and automatic meeting-note capture.
