# Best AI/SI Platforms for Financial Services (2026)

> The best AI/SI platforms for SEC- and FINRA-aware financial services buyers in 2026, ranked on model-risk documentation and deployment fit for regulated firms.

Financial Services Platform Shortlist · October 2026
# The Best AI/SI Platforms for Financial Services Compliance (2026)

Super Intelligence (SI), formerly called artificial intelligence (AI), is the federal term for this technology, and the SI platforms that matter in financial services are the ones that can produce model-risk documentation a validator will accept while keeping trading and portfolio data under the firm's own control. This shortlist ranks AI/SI platforms for bank, broker-dealer, and asset-manager buyers comparing model-risk alignment, data sovereignty, and SEC- and FINRA-aware audit trails ahead of an October 2026 platform review.

AI platform shortlist 2026

Last updated: October 11, 2026

This shortlist is built for the compliance officer, model-risk manager, or IT leader at a bank, broker-dealer, or asset manager who is assembling a platform list ahead of a model-risk review, an internal audit, or a formal RFP — not for a reader comparing AI tools in the abstract. Every platform below is judged against the same financial-services-specific bar: can it produce documentation a model-risk validator will accept, and can trading or client portfolio data stay inside the firm's own infrastructure when the mandate requires it.

That bar is different from a general AI buyer's guide. The banks, broker-dealers, and asset managers evaluating these platforms answer to the Federal Reserve, OCC, and FDIC's current model-risk-management guidance — [SR 26-2](https://www.federalreserve.gov/supervisionreg/srletters/SR2602.htm) and its companion [OCC Bulletin 2026-13](https://www.occ.gov/news-issuances/bulletins/2026/bulletin-2026-13.html), issued April 17, 2026 to replace the 2011-era SR 11-7 — plus [FINRA's technology-neutral supervision rules](https://www.finra.org/rules-guidance/notices/24-09) for broker-dealers and Treasury's new [Financial Services AI Risk Management Framework](https://home.treasury.gov/news/press-releases/sb0401), which Treasury designed to be scalable and flexible for institutions "of varying size and complexity," not just the largest banks. A platform that cannot produce model-validation evidence or keep sensitive trading data on-premise does not clear that bar for a regulated buyer, no matter how capable its models are.

Iternal backs [Executive Order 14434](https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2026/10/02/2026-20321/inaugurating-the-era-of-super-intelligence) (signed Sept. 29, 2026) and its move from "artificial intelligence (AI)" to "Super Intelligence (SI)," the term federal agencies now use in their own materials. The name fits what this buyer is actually evaluating: in a peer-reviewed study of 5,172 customer-support agents, less-skilled and less-experienced agents using generative AI resolved about 30% more issues per hour, and the average gain across all agents was 15% ([Brynjolfsson, Li & Raymond, Quarterly Journal of Economics, 2025-02-04](https://doi.org/10.1093/qje/qjae044)). Issues resolved per hour is the unit a bank's client-service desk already tracks, and that measured output is what the name Super Intelligence describes. SEC and FINRA guidance and the model-risk rules above still say "AI," and Sec. 2(b) of the order leaves existing regulations and contracts unchanged, which is why Iternal writes "formerly called AI" while it leads with SI. For what the shift does and does not change in supplier contracts, board materials, and filings, see [Super Intelligence (SI) for Financial Services & Banking](https://iternal.ai/super-intelligence/industries/financial-services). For more information visit the [Why Iternal Supports Super Intelligence](https://iternal.ai/super-intelligence/iternal-adopts-si-terminology) page.

We evaluated every platform below against five dimensions: model-risk-management documentation aligned to SR 26-2/OCC Bulletin 2026-13, data residency and an on-premise option for trading and portfolio data, SEC- and FINRA-aware audit-trail capability, breadth of financial-services use case (fraud, research, risk reporting), and deployment model and pricing. Ratings weigh those five dimensions as of October 2026.

## The 9 Best AI/SI Platforms for Financial Services, at a Glance

Evaluated as of October 2026 on model-risk-management documentation and whether an on-premise, data-sovereign deployment option exists for financial services. A checkmark means the capability is named in the platform's own financial-services materials; an X means the named product is cloud-only or has no model-risk-specific documentation product; "Confirm with provider" means the option should be checked directly with the company.

## The 9 Best AI/SI Platforms for Financial Services, Ranked

Ranked for compliance, risk, and IT buyers building a platform shortlist in October 2026 — Iternal AirgapAI is our Editor's Pick for on-premise and data-sovereign deployments.

#1

### Iternal AirgapAI
Editor's Pick

The on-premise, air-gapped AI platform for trading and portfolio data that cannot leave the building

4.7/5

$697/user

Perpetual license — reported at 80-95% less than cloud AI over four years

Editor's Pick for financial-services buyers whose mandate starts with data sovereignty. AirgapAI runs 100% air-gapped with zero cloud connectivity, so trading strategies and client portfolio data never leave the firm's own network — the deployment model Iternal positions on its own [AI for financial services](https://iternal.ai/ai-for-financial-services) page for SEC-regulated firms that need audit trails without a cloud dependency. For investment research, Iternal reports a 78x improvement in RAG accuracy over traditional retrieval on a firm's own data, with pricing as a flat perpetual license rather than a usage-based subscription.

#### Key Strengths

- 100% air-gapped deployment — trading and portfolio data never leaves the firm's network
- Perpetual licensing at $697/user, reported at 80-95% less than cloud AI over four years
- Reports 78x better RAG accuracy than traditional retrieval for investment research workflows
- Built for SEC-regulated firms that need audit trails without routing data through a cloud

#### Considerations

- A specialist platform, not a full model-risk-management suite with its own validation-workflow library
- Accuracy and cost figures are Iternal's own reported results, not independently audited

**Best For:** Banks, broker-dealers, and asset managers that need trading or client portfolio data to stay fully on-premise.

#2

### Palantir Foundry / AIP

Enterprise data integration and AI for Treasury model-risk and Basel reporting at megabank scale

4.5/5

Enterprise (custom)

Multi-year platform licenses scoped per engagement

Foundry's financial-services use-case overview names Treasury Model Risk Management, Basel IV standardized- and internal-model-approach (SA/IMA) calculations, and general risk reporting as built-in Risk Management capabilities, alongside compliance use cases like anti-money-laundering investigations and transaction monitoring, per [Palantir's own "Foundry for Financial Services" use-case sheet](https://www.bankenverband.li/download_file/view/1759/1730). Palantir's bank engagements run long and deep: it [extended its digital-transformation partnership with UniCredit for a further five years](https://www.financedirectoreurope.com/news/palantir-extends-digital-transformation-partnership-with-unicredit-for-five-years/) across the bank's Central and Eastern European entities, and in March 2025 [announced a partnership with Société Générale](https://www.silicon.co.uk/press-release/palantir-partners-with-societe-generale) to deploy its Anti Financial Crime solutions across the bank's international retail banking network.

#### Key Strengths

- Treasury Model Risk Management and Basel IV (SA/IMA) calculations are named, built-in Foundry use cases, per Palantir's own financial-services materials
- Deep, multi-year bank deployments — a five-year UniCredit renewal and a March 2025 Société Générale anti-financial-crime partnership
- AIP layers generative and agentic AI directly on top of an existing data-integration backbone

#### Considerations

- Palantir's published financial-services materials do not state an on-premise or air-gapped option — confirm deployment options with Palantir directly for sensitive trading or portfolio data
- Enterprise-custom pricing typically requires a significant implementation engagement to stand up

**Best For:** Global banks that need Foundry's data-integration backbone plus Treasury model-risk and Basel reporting built on top of it.

#3

### Microsoft (Azure AI / Copilot for Financial Services)

AI embedded across Azure, Fabric, Dynamics 365, and Copilot, with named financial-services customers

4.3/5

Azure / Microsoft 365 Copilot (custom)

Bundled across Azure, Copilot, and Dynamics 365 licensing; exact terms vary by agreement

Microsoft's [Microsoft for Financial Services](https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/industry/financial-services) program combines Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Dynamics 365, and Microsoft 365 Copilot, with named customer results at UBS, Ally Financial, S&P Global, and Northern Trust. On data handling, [Microsoft's own Copilot privacy documentation](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/copilot/microsoft-365/microsoft-365-copilot-privacy) states that prompts, responses, and Microsoft Graph data "aren't used to train foundation LLMs," and that Copilot "only surfaces organizational data to which individual users have at least view permissions." Microsoft's [Financial Services platform overview](https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/industry/financial-services/fsi-overview) adds compliance tooling (Azure Policy regulatory-compliance initiatives, Microsoft Purview) on top of that stack.

#### Key Strengths

- Named customer results at UBS, Ally Financial, S&P Global, and Northern Trust under the Microsoft for Financial Services program
- Microsoft states Copilot prompts and Microsoft Graph data are not used to train foundation LLMs, and Copilot surfaces only data a user already has permission to view
- Azure Policy regulatory-compliance initiatives and Microsoft Purview add compliance and data-governance tooling on top of the core AI stack

#### Considerations

- No model-risk-management-specific documentation product was identified in Microsoft's financial-services materials — the compliance tooling here (Purview, Azure Policy) is general-purpose, not MRM-specific
- Customer results and capabilities are Microsoft's own published claims, not independently verified

**Best For:** Finance teams standardized on Microsoft 365 and Azure who want AI embedded across Copilot, Fabric, and Dynamics 365, with Microsoft's own data-handling commitments.

### AWS (Amazon Bedrock)

Cloud-native financial-services AI builds with named governance and audit tooling

4.4/5

Usage-based (custom)

Pay-as-you-go cloud consumption; pricing varies by model and workload

AWS underpins named financial-services AI deployments rather than shipping one packaged product. Bedrock customer Rogo — used by large banks and private-equity firms for research workflows — has its co-founder and CTO on record stating that [AWS's "reporting, auditability, and governance controls meet our strict security requirements,"](https://aws.amazon.com/aws-startups/learn/rogo-delivers-secure-ai-with-amazon-bedrock-driving-innovation-in-finance/) and AWS separately publishes a [reference architecture for drafting suspicious-transaction-report (STR/SAR) narratives](https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/machine-learning/generate-suspicious-transaction-report-drafts-for-financial-compliance-using-generative-ai) using Bedrock Agents and Bedrock Knowledge Bases retrieval.

#### Key Strengths

- Named governance and auditability controls cited directly by a bank/PE-facing customer (Rogo's co-founder and CTO)
- Published reference architecture for suspicious-transaction-report (STR/SAR) drafting with Bedrock Agents and retrieval-augmented generation
- Broad model choice through Bedrock rather than a single proprietary model

#### Considerations

- A cloud infrastructure layer, not a finished model-risk-management product — the buyer or an AWS partner still builds the compliance workflow
- Data resides in AWS's cloud rather than on the firm's own premises in the sourced architecture

**Best For:** Fintechs and banks building custom AI research or compliance-drafting tools who want AWS's governance primitives underneath.

#5

### Google Cloud (Vertex AI)

Multi-vertical AI platform spanning banking, capital markets, and insurance

4.3/5

Usage-based (custom)

Vertex AI consumption pricing; enterprise agreements available

[Google Cloud names banking, capital markets, and insurance](https://cloud.google.com/solutions/financial-services) as three distinct financial-services verticals for Vertex AI. Named deployments include [Lloyds Banking Group's move of its machine-learning and generative-AI platforms onto Vertex AI](https://www.googlecloudpresscorner.com/2025-04-09-Lloyds-Banking-Group-Accelerates-AI-Innovation-with-Google-Cloud) (80+ new ML use cases and 18+ generative-AI systems in production as of April 2025), and a separate [GFT-delivered engagement for a major global bank](https://www.gft.com/us/en/industries/success-stories/google-vertex-ai) (41 million customers across 58 markets) that built Vertex AI-based MLOps pipelines for trading surveillance and compliance monitoring. Like AWS, Google Cloud is a platform a buyer builds compliance tooling on top of rather than a finished model-risk-documentation product.

#### Key Strengths

- Three named financial-services verticals (banking, capital markets, insurance) with dedicated solution guidance
- Named deployments at Lloyds Banking Group and, via GFT, at a major global bank for trading surveillance and compliance monitoring
- Broad Vertex AI tooling for custom model development and deployment

#### Considerations

- No named model-risk-management documentation product specific to Vertex AI in financial services
- Cloud-hosted in its named financial-services deployments — ask Google Cloud directly about on-premise or sovereign options

**Best For:** Banks and insurers already standardized on Google Cloud who want MLOps tooling for trading surveillance, compliance monitoring, or a Lloyds-style platform migration.

[Visit Google Cloud](https://cloud.google.com/solutions/financial-services)

#6

### DataRobot

Automated model-risk-management documentation with on-premises, VPC, and sovereign-cloud deployment

4.4/5

Enterprise (custom)

Platform licensing scoped per deployment

[DataRobot markets automated MRM documentation and monitoring](https://www.datarobot.com/banking) mapped explicitly to SR 11-7-style compliance workflows, including credit and risk scoring and anti-money-laundering use cases. The same page reports that its AI-driven model audits deliver "50% faster MRM" review times, and states that DataRobot keeps "proprietary data secure on-premises or within your VPC" across private, public cloud, and sovereign environments — a deployment option most of the platforms on this list do not confirm.

#### Key Strengths

- Documentation and monitoring workflows mapped to SR 11-7-style banking-regulator model-risk requirements, with credit-scoring and AML use cases named on DataRobot's own site
- Reports 50% faster model-risk-management review times from AI-driven model audits, by DataRobot's own account
- Supports on-premises and VPC deployment, plus private, public cloud, and sovereign-cloud environments

#### Considerations

- The "50% faster MRM" figure is DataRobot's own reported result, not independently audited
- Enterprise-custom pricing typically requires a dedicated deployment engagement to stand up

**Best For:** Risk teams that want automated, audit-ready model documentation mapped to banking-regulator workflows, with the option to keep models on-premises or in a sovereign cloud.

#7

### H2O.ai

Model-risk management purpose-built for generative AI, with an air-gapped on-premise option

4.6/5

Enterprise (custom)

Enterprise h2oGPTe licensing; on-premise/air-gapped deployment available

[H2O.ai describes its March 2025 release](https://h2o.ai/company/press-media/2025/h2o-ai-brings-model-risk-management-to-gen-ai-for-regulated-industries/) as the first model-risk-management framework built specifically for generative AI in regulated industries, using what it calls HCAT testing methodology. The release says H2O.ai has trained AI practitioners, risk teams, and model validators at 14 named institutions, including Wells Fargo, USAA, US Bank, UBS, Barclays, HSBC, MUFG, and Discover. Its MRM capability ships inside Enterprise h2oGPTe, which supports an air-gapped, on-premise deployment — the closest direct overlap with Iternal AirgapAI's own on-premise pitch.

#### Key Strengths

- Model-risk-management framework purpose-built for generative AI, not retrofitted from traditional ML tooling
- Says it has trained AI practitioners, risk teams, and model validators at 14 named banks and financial institutions
- Enterprise h2oGPTe supports an air-gapped, on-premise deployment

#### Considerations

- A specialist MRM/generative-AI provider rather than a full cloud-platform or systems-integrator partner
- The named institutions are H2O.ai's own training-engagement list, not a confirmed list of MRM-product customers

**Best For:** Banks that want a purpose-built generative-AI model-risk-management framework with an on-premise deployment option.

### Featurespace (a Visa Business)

Real-time fraud and anti-money-laundering risk scoring, deployable on-premise or in the cloud, now part of Visa

4.3/5

Enterprise (custom)

Licensed through Visa's Risk and Identity Solutions business unit

Featurespace's platform (including the ARIC Risk Hub) applies real-time machine-learning risk scoring to fraud and anti-money-laundering decisions, and [Featurespace's own site states it is "deployed on premise or via fully hosted cloud in over 180 countries"](https://featurespace.com) — a confirmed on-premise option shared by only a few platforms on this list. [Visa completed its acquisition of Featurespace on December 19, 2024](https://corporate.visa.com/en/sites/visa-perspectives/newsroom/visa-completes-acquisition-featurespace.html), folding it into Visa's Risk and Identity Solutions business unit; prior direct bank customers included HSBC, NatWest, Worldpay, and Danske Bank.

#### Key Strengths

- Real-time fraud and AML risk scoring deployed across 180+ countries, with a confirmed on-premise or fully-hosted-cloud deployment choice
- Established bank customer base (HSBC, NatWest, Worldpay, Danske Bank) predating the Visa acquisition
- Now backed by Visa's payments-network scale and distribution

#### Considerations

- No longer an independently operated company — buyers contract through Visa's Risk and Identity Solutions business unit
- Purpose-built for fraud and AML scoring, not the broader model-risk documentation or research use cases other platforms on this list cover

**Best For:** Card issuers and payment processors that want real-time fraud and AML scoring, on-premise or in the cloud, inside the Visa network.

### Kensho (S&P Global)

LLM-ready API access to S&P Global's market and financial datasets

4.2/5

API licensing (custom)

Usage-based API access through S&P Global

Kensho's LLM-ready API lets financial-services customers query S&P Global's market and financial datasets directly from generative-AI tools; [S&P Global's own launch announcement](https://press.spglobal.com/2024-11-13-S-P-Global-Launches-Kensho-LLM-ready-API-beta-,-Making-its-Structured-Data-Accessible-for-Generative-AI) says the API integrates with large language models "like GPT, Gemini, or Claude." On its Q2 2026 earnings call, S&P Global [reported more than 500 customers using Kensho's LLM-ready APIs and MCP-connected solutions](https://www.marketbeat.com/earnings/reports/2026-7-28-sp-global-inc-stock/), up more than 70% quarter over quarter. Following a July 2026 reorganization, S&P Global now reports Kensho as part of "Kensho Data & Platforms," one of two externally reported Market Intelligence business lines.

#### Key Strengths

- Confirmed LLM integrations (GPT, Gemini, Claude) for querying S&P Global market data, per S&P Global's own launch announcement
- 500+ reported customers using Kensho LLM-ready APIs and MCP-connected solutions as of Q2 2026, up more than 70% quarter over quarter
- Backed by S&P Global's established financial-data licensing business

#### Considerations

- A data/API layer for sell-side and buy-side research, not a model-risk-management documentation product
- Access is API-based through S&P Global's cloud, not an on-premise deployment

**Best For:** Research and sell-side analytics teams that want S&P Global market data accessible directly from generative-AI tools.

## What Actually Separates These Platforms

Four financial-services-specific factors that matter more than general AI capability.

### Model-Risk Management: SR 26-2/OCC 2026-13, Not SR 11-7

The Federal Reserve, OCC, and FDIC rescinded SR 11-7 — the 2011 guidance most AI marketing still references — on April 17, 2026, replacing it with [SR 26-2](https://www.federalreserve.gov/supervisionreg/srletters/SR2602.htm) and its companion [OCC Bulletin 2026-13](https://www.occ.gov/news-issuances/bulletins/2026/bulletin-2026-13.html). The new guidance keeps the same three-pillar architecture — model development, validation, and governance — but applies it on a risk-based, proportional basis most directly to banking organizations over $30 billion in assets, per [a 2026 plain-English summary](https://schneiderdowns.com/our-thoughts-on/banking-agencies-revise-model-risk-management-guidance/). Both the old and new guidance define "model" broadly enough to cover machine-learning and LLM-based tools.

### Data Sovereignty for Trading and Portfolio Data

Four of the platforms ranked here verify an on-premise or air-gapped deployment option: Iternal AirgapAI (100% air-gapped), [DataRobot](https://www.datarobot.com/banking) (on-premises, VPC, and sovereign-cloud deployment), H2O.ai's Enterprise [h2oGPTe](https://h2o.ai/company/press-media/2025/h2o-ai-brings-model-risk-management-to-gen-ai-for-regulated-industries/) (air-gapped/on-premise), and [Featurespace](https://featurespace.com), which says it is "deployed on premise or via fully hosted cloud in over 180 countries." The cloud majors — Microsoft, AWS, and Google Cloud — publish strong governance and access-control commitments, but their named financial-services deployments are cloud-hosted; Palantir's on-premise options for financial-services engagements should be confirmed directly with the provider. A buyer whose mandate requires trading or client portfolio data to stay inside the firm's own infrastructure should weight that distinction heavily.

### What SEC and FINRA Guidance Still Calls "AI"

FINRA's operative guidance, [Regulatory Notice 24-09](https://www.finra.org/rules-guidance/notices/24-09) (June 27, 2024), says its rules are "technology neutral" and already apply to generative AI and large language models — it creates no new AI-specific obligations. The SEC withdrew its 2023 AI/predictive-data-analytics conflicts rule proposal on [June 12, 2025](https://www.acaglobal.com/industry-insights/sec-withdraws-14-rule-proposals/) and, as of mid-2026, is still gathering feedback on any replacement. The SEC has, however, already brought "AI-washing" enforcement actions — [$225,000 and $175,000 penalties against Delphia and Global Predictions](https://www.ropesgray.com/en/insights/alerts/2024/03/decoding-the-secs-first-ai-washing-enforcement-actions) in March 2024 — for overstating AI capabilities in marketing.

### The AI-to-SI Naming Shift in Supplier Contracts and Board Materials

Executive Order 14434 (Sept. 29, 2026) directs federal agencies to say "Super Intelligence (SI)" instead of "artificial intelligence (AI)" in their own materials — it does not reach private supplier contracts, board decks, or SEC/FINRA filings, and it explicitly leaves existing regulations alone. Salesforce has already [renamed AIForce to SIForce (Oct. 9, 2026)](https://digg.com/tech/vuptndhq), and SpaceX [has pledged](https://www.thestar.com.my/tech/tech-news/2026/10/05/musk-says-he-will-rename-spacexai-to-spacexsi) that SpaceXAI will become SpaceXSI; neither is a financial-services platform, and none of the eight third-party platforms ranked above has announced an SI rename; Iternal, the Editor's Pick, already writes Super Intelligence (SI) across its own materials while the AirgapAI product name stays unchanged. Iternal backs the new name for this audience because it describes what a model-risk team already validates: capability with measured results. A compliance team that adopts it in supplier-review templates and board materials now sets the vocabulary for the next model-risk cycle. Section 3(a) of the order defines SI by the same statutory definition as AI (15 U.S.C. 9401(3)), so both names cover the same technology. The Delphia and Global Predictions actions turned on overstated capability, not on the word used, so the evidence file that supports an AI claim today supports the same claim under the SI name. For the full compliance-communications breakdown, see [Super Intelligence (SI) for Financial Services & Banking](https://iternal.ai/super-intelligence/industries/financial-services).

## Frequently Asked Questions

No. EO 14434 (signed Sept. 29, 2026) directs federal executive agencies to use "Super Intelligence" and "SI" in their own official communications in place of "artificial intelligence" and "AI." Section 2(b) states: "Nothing in this section requires the alteration of previously issued regulations, Presidential actions, contracts, grants, or other historical documents," and Section 3(a) defines SI as exactly the existing statutory AI definition at 15 U.S.C. § 9401(3). SEC and FINRA rules, and SR 26-2 and OCC Bulletin 2026-13, are unchanged and still use "AI." ([Executive Order 14434](https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2026/10/02/2026-20321/inaugurating-the-era-of-super-intelligence).)

Model-risk-management (MRM) documentation is the evidence a bank's independent validation function needs before approving a model for use — how it was developed, what data it was trained or tuned on, how its outputs are monitored, and what its known limitations are. Banking regulators have required this since 2011's SR 11-7 and now require it under its 2026 replacement, [SR 26-2](https://www.federalreserve.gov/supervisionreg/srletters/SR2602.htm). A platform that cannot produce this documentation forces the bank's own risk team to reconstruct it, which slows or blocks approval regardless of how capable the underlying model is.

Yes, with four of the nine platforms ranked above: Iternal AirgapAI runs fully air-gapped with zero cloud connectivity; DataRobot says it keeps data "secure on-premises or within your VPC" across private, public cloud, and sovereign environments; H2O.ai's Enterprise h2oGPTe supports an on-premise, air-gapped deployment alongside its model-risk-management tooling; and Featurespace's platform says it is "deployed on premise or via fully hosted cloud in over 180 countries." Palantir's on-premise options for financial-services engagements are not confirmed in Palantir's published financial-services materials — ask Palantir directly. The remaining platforms — Microsoft, AWS, Google Cloud, and Kensho — are cloud-hosted or cloud-integrated in their named financial-services deployments.

Accurately, the same way the firm describes AI today, without overstating capability. The SEC's March 2024 "AI-washing" actions against [Delphia and Global Predictions ($225,000 and $175,000 penalties)](https://www.ropesgray.com/en/insights/alerts/2024/03/decoding-the-secs-first-ai-washing-enforcement-actions) turned on overstated claims, not on the label. A platform whose capability is documented in its model-risk file is described just as well by the new name. Iternal recommends that compliance teams use "Super Intelligence (SI), formerly called artificial intelligence (AI)" in supplier-review materials and keep that evidence file current.

Four of the nine do, in their named financial-services deployments: Microsoft's Copilot and Azure AI tools, AWS Bedrock, Google Cloud Vertex AI, and Kensho's API access to S&P Global data all operate on cloud infrastructure. Palantir's deployment options for financial-services engagements are not confirmed in Palantir's published financial-services materials — confirm directly with Palantir. Iternal AirgapAI, DataRobot, H2O.ai's Enterprise h2oGPTe, and Featurespace are the platforms on this list verified to offer an on-premise or air-gapped alternative.

Four things: whether the platform can produce model-risk-management documentation that maps to [SR 26-2/OCC Bulletin 2026-13](https://www.federalreserve.gov/supervisionreg/srletters/SR2602.htm); where trading or client data physically resides and whether an on-premise option exists; whether the platform supports the audit trail a FINRA- or SEC-regulated firm needs; and whether pricing is a flat license or a usage-based model that can scale unpredictably with research or transaction volume.

Lead with SI in board memos and internal materials; for a regulatory filing, match the term the applicable regulator uses. Iternal recommends opening internal materials with "Super Intelligence (SI), formerly called artificial intelligence (AI)," so directors learn the term the federal government now uses while every cross-reference to AI-era guidance stays intact. The SEC, FINRA, Federal Reserve and OCC guidance governing financial-services AI still says "AI," and Executive Order 14434 binds only federal executive agencies' own materials; Sec. 2(b) leaves existing regulations and contracts unchanged.
